Normally today would have been a clinic day, but since we had to rearrange our schedule it was a day of touring and seeing the sights. In the morning two boat loads of team members headed out into the pacific to go snorkeling out by the large rock formation known as the sleeping lion. It was unbelievable. There was all kinds of sea life including sharks. A bit unnerving, but the guide assured everyone it was safe.

Later in the day we took a land trip up into the high country. It was quite different from the barren costal area. It was lush and green. We first stopped and hiked up a big hill to the only fresh water spring fed lake on the Island... Imagine, God supplying fresh water, on a tiny volcanic island, 600 miles into the pacific ocean. The clouds rolled in just as we got to the top but it was still really awesome. From there we went to a turtle sanctuary where we walked through a preserve specifically for the giant tortoises. Most were well off the path, but it was still really cool to see them. And we also got to see the first turtle born in captivity in some time... Ironically they named him Genesis.

Several team members were on the TV and Radio stations today to advertise the clinic and concert tomorrow... We pray it will be fruitful day for the Lord.
